The First Drawn Out Days book is here!

A B finished cover side shot

This is why I haven’t been posting recently! Finally got the book done!

I’m debuting it at Mocca Fest this weekend for whoever’s in town and I’ll be having a book release party next week. If you want to order a copy there are several ways to do that too. Info below:

TO ORDER

1)  Through me! The cheapest option. At the Book Release Party, at MOCCA Fest or just contact me (kendra.allenby@gmail.com) and I can mail or hand you a copy. It’s $10 (plus shipping) and I’ll throw in some goodies. I accept pay pal, checks and cash.

2) Online at the Create Space estore. A little more convoluted than Amazon, but I get a higher royalty from them so if you want to order from here I’d appreciate it! It’s $14. (Go to createspace.com, at the top right pull down the grey menu and change it from “site” to “store,” then type in “Public Housed” in the search box and you should be there!)
3) Online at Amazon.com for $14!
MOCCA info:
MOCCA Fest is a two day Festival of comic and cartoon art. I’ll be selling prints, stickers and my new book there this weekend, Saturday and Sunday April 5th and 6th from 11am – 6pm. It’s at the 69th Regiment Armory in Manhattan located at 68 Lexington Ave between E.25th and E. 26th street (close subways include the 6 to 23rd street or the N/R to 23rd street). I’m sharing a table with the lovely artist Anita Rundles, our table number is D31. General Admission is $5 per day at the door which also gets you into all the panels, talks and programming. More info at: http://www.societyillustrators.org/Mocca_Event.aspx?id=10561
BOOK RELEASE PARTY:
I’m combining forces with the magnificent artists Nico LeBarge and Marissa Olney for a Book Release Party/Art Show at the Fulton Grand Bar on Thursday April 10th from 6pm – 10pm. The Bar is at 1011 Fulton Street, close to the Clinton Washington C stop. Beer, art, cartoons. Should be great.

  1. Congratulations,

I believe you are the first published author in the Johnson family — no , I guess not. There is your dad. Wish we lived closer – would go to the Festival. Hope you do well.

    Love, Marsha
